Operating position – the main console for the WX4PTC station.
Dual-monitor system with radar, EMWIN and APRS
Dual-monitor system – radar on the left, EMWIN in the centre, APRS on the right. Jack boxes under the table let each operator plug in a Heil boom headset.
Main operating position (Radio A) with Icom IC207 and mixer
Radio A – Icom IC207 – the mixer combines audio from all three positions so any operator can listen to any radio.
Radio B (Kenwood TS570SG) and Radio C (Icom IC207)
Radio B & C – Kenwood TS570SG (75 m / 40 m ARES) and another Icom IC207.
Packet/APRS station with PacComm TNC and Icom IC2000H
Packet / APRS station – PacComm TNC + Icom IC2000H.
Monitor switch for meteorologist audio feed
Monitor switch – routes audio from any radio to the meteorologist’s desk.
WX4PTC antenna array on 40 ft Rohn 45 tower
Antenna array – Cushcraft 10-el 2 m beam, two Diamond X-50 dual-banders, Alpha Delta 10-80 m dipole, and a spare Hustler G-7 (currently under repair) on a 40 ft Rohn 45 tower.
Main grounding buss bar at tower base
Grounding buss bar – enclosed box with three 16 ft ground rods for the tower plus a dedicated 10 ft rod.
